Making a Move into Senior Apartment Living

My mom lives in a Gracious Senior Retirement apartment in Greater Portland, Maine.  She made the move shortly after my dad passed away so that she could have a community of other seniors and helpful service providers that make her life more fulfilling and safe.

Moving her from the family home into a small apartment was a challenge!  How to decide on what furnishings would fit into her new “home” while meeting her simpler needs.  The oversized couch and the king sized bed would never work, nor did she need her formal dining table or floor to ceiling entertainment console!  She needed to scale things down yet be comfortable.  Making a Move into Senior Apartment Living
